This sailing yacht SELENE is a 56 metre 184 (foot) substantial aluminium luxury yacht which was developed at Perini Navi and her design plans were devised by Perini Navi. A substantial ketch motor sailer SELENE is a particularily distinctive Italian built yacht which was launched to accolade in 2007. Accommodating 12 passengers and 9 professional crew, sailing yacht SELENE used to be C.2085. She could be described as a recent ketch motor sailer. This gracious boat was created by naval architects Perini Navi. Ron Holland Design was involved in the designing of the interior.Perini Navi was the naval architect firm involved in the formal nautical plans for SELENE. Her interior design was realised by Ron Holland Design. Perini Navi is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this yacht. In 2007 she was formally launched with celebration in Viareggio and post sea trials and finishing touches was then delivered to the yacht owner. Perini Navi completed their new build sailing yacht in Italy. A spacious area is achieved with a total beam (width) of 11.52 metres / 38 feet. With a 9.73m (32ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably 9.73 (32 ft). The material aluminium was used in the building of the hull of the sailing yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is fashioned from aluminium. In 2008 extra refitting and modernisation was in addition performed.
