Womens Military Jacket

Runa Ray is a graduate from NIFT. After winning the final collection award, she proceeded to Paris where she studied at the Chambre du commerce and completed her masters in Fashion merchandising and marketing. After which she got selected to work under the likes of John Galliano for his private label and for Christian Dior. It was here where couture and pret were combined in the most fantastic and creative way possible.

Several projects later in Amsterdam, Paris and Milan, she returned to India and had a stint with Levi’s which helped her understand the beauty and versatility of denim as she worked with the Research and development team. She moved on to head the design Department Of Allen Solly, a Brand of Madura garments based in Bangalore and was involved in the transformation of Allen Solly from a work wear brand to a youth savvy model.
