Barebones Computer

Shuttle has presented their new XPC Barebone computer codenamed SN68PTG6. It features everything a small-sized box has to offer, such as 4GB of DDR-800 RAM memory, and graphic cards compatible with Windows Vista. Evidently, this system doesn’t include a display, but it has an HDMI port + VGA output so you can make use of dual monitors. Other specifications include a NVIDIA GeForce 7050PV graphic processor, 2 Firewire ports, and 6 USB ports. The Deluxe version has some extra useful stuff, like a fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi, and bluetooth 2.0 + EDR. The Shuttle XPC Barebone SN68PTG6 will become available in the upcoming weeks, the price tag is €315 ($420) for the Deluxe version, and €239 ($324) for the normal one.Following the successful introduction of the first Intel SFF PC Barebones with HDMI, now come models supporting 64 bit AMD processors. The suffix Deluxe denotes new XPC Barebones that are especially well equipped.
