CLOUDBREAK, Tavarua/Fiji (Friday, June 8, 2012) – The Volcom Fiji Pro has been called back on this morning with the world’s best taking on eight-to-ten foot (2.5 – 3 metre) plus surf at the famed, oceanic lefthander of Cloudbreak. Stop No. 4 of 10 on the 2012 ASP World Championship Tour, the Volcom Fiji Pro will recommence at 11:15am this morning, opening with the remaining Round 2 heats before moving straight into Round 3. “After working out some logistics this morning we’ve given the green light to go ahead with competition at Cloudbreak and will start at 11:15am,” Matt Wilson, Volcom Fiji Pro Event Director, said. “We had some inclement weather at first light and the swell was slightly disorganized. It’s sorted itself out now though and we’re excited to bring you the world’s best surfers in building eight-to-ten foot (2.5 – 3 metre) plus surf at Cloudbreak. Good luck to all our competitors today.”
